i got the bionic to work on page plus with solid 1x data and 3g until signal drop

Start with a clean build, don't make any changes to settings on phone menus until you've removed the SIM.

I followed post 11 [qpst didn't work for me] but my RAZR is running the most current build so I used the "any cut" app to access the programming menu (*#*#4636#*#*) and I also used the newer prl linked from post 102. The RAZR will not program OTA so disregard that part, you will have to manually key in the MDI and MIN via the ##7764726 menu. You will need to get these from PPC.

It is called (phone info) it is free in the market
Use this on the razor instead of* #*#4636#*#* to set cdma auto prl

Following the post #11 as a general guide and using 'phone info' app I'm fully up and running with my Droid Razr on Page Plus with 3G. Getting QPST to connect to phone is the trickiest part of the whole process.
Also the process worked with a used Verizon micro sim card that had previously been activated at one time. Phone did not successfully OTA program until I went into 'phone info' app and clicked 'turn radio off' then changed to 'cdma only' and click 'turn radio on'. After that the phone made a call automatically and I followed the prompts to activate the phone. Then I removed the Sim card and followed the steps to get 3G working. 3G popped up after 1 minute after I completed the steps, didn't even reboot.
In settings its showing Im running on EVDO rev. a. Hooray!

I have my droid razr working great w/3G - but MMS doesnt work. Any tips on getting the MMS to work? (Regular text, phone, and data all work fine)

Use cdma tools (dfs) and change eHRPD TO EVDO REV A then you can use a Sim card and the mms will work.

I allowed the update for my Bionic and it wiped off all my pageplus settings (I've never regretted something more). With no luck trying to reprogram with the new version I did a factory reset. Now when I try to boot up into diagnostic mode the phone is not recognized by my computer and so no motohelper connection (driver files) and you know the rest. I'm stuck. Any help, please.

Bummer. Yeah, since its not the ICS update your not really getting much by updating. I would say uninstall your Moto drivers, reboot, and then reinstall them again using these drivers: http://www.motorola.com/staticfiles/...iver_5.4.0.exe
After you reinstalled drivers again go back into diagnostic mode on the Bionic. On your computer go into Computer Management > Device Manager. You should see a device under COM Ports. If you don't see a COM Ports section under Device Manager you are not in Diagnostic mode on the Bionic. You are selecting 'BP Tools' from the menu to get into diagnostic mode right?

Thanks, I uninstalled the moto drivers and then reinstalled, went into diagnostic mode (bptools) and still nothing. Motohelper will work when connected after a regular boot, not in diagnostic mode. Never had this happen before...have no idea what's going on. Is it something in my Android settings?

Funkd00biest, Thanks for responding to my plea for help yesterday. I figured out my problem this morning and got it activated. What you said about checking the device manager is what I wasn't doing. I was going along with what QPST said was my port and not checking for the correct port. Again, thanks a bunch

...now just remember no more OTA updating. Especially for you Razr users when ICS is released soon. Don't install the OTA ICS update until its been confirmed that 3G can be configured and working or else you may be stuck on 1x.

Is there any reason why the 3g wont come on or even stay on even though I followed the steps? I have good signal and most of the time it wont even come on. Sometimes it comes on for a few minutes then vanishes.

Also can we run in CDMA only mode(no prl auto)?

My guess is you keep moving over to eHRPD, which is related to the LTE netowrk. You are seeing network eHRPD instead of EVDO rev. a right? This will give you no data at all as I'm sure you know. Yes, you can run in CDMA only mode and you will get talk, text, and 1x data. You need it to be set on prl auto in order to get 3G however. Do you get 1x data working on CDMA only mode?

1x works on CDMA only mode. In CDMA auto PRL mode the 3G comes on whenever it feels like and only stays on for a few minutes or seconds and drops.
I did these steps to 2 phones and one, the 3G or 1x does not come on at ALL. The phone I use the 1X comes on only in CDMA mode but if I set it to CDMA auto prl I get 3g for just like 10 seconds and it drops.

I am not sure what eHRPD is? I followed the steps more than once exactly like mentioned on the first page.
