i got the bionic to work on page plus with solid 1x data and 3g until signal drop

i sent it to be flashed since i couldn't find anything online anywhere that had surefire way to do it. flashing company supplied the sim card. tampa is 4g area and phone is up to date. *228 does not work on 4g phones they are now only done ota by verizon
soon as i got the phone back i rooted it in 3 minutes.

I'm updated to .902, already activated, using 52690 prl, and like everyone else couldn't get 3g to stick until last night. Tried the toggling but wouldn't stick.

I started over from sctratch to get 3g but didn't reset phone. I put everything back to the way it was before trying to get 3g.

Also prior to switching back to try from beginning these were my settings so set yours to them as well

*#*#4636#*#* , set to cdma auto PRL , dns toggle allowed

##program

06 test mode set to cdma and evdo mode <---- (didn't know I was in this mode already when i tried this. May be reason it worked? Was left in this mode during the toggling to get 3g

power off then power on ( just like you were trying to toggle and get 3g )

then start over with inital settings---

leave sim card out.

*#*#4636#*#* turn radio off , change to cdma only , toggle dns not allowed, and turn radio on.

dial ##program enter 000000 to verify and scroll down to

14 LTE test settings

select sim type, select commercial, click apply <---- ( mine was set to commercial after activation and not 4g test UICC. if yours was set to 4g test then I would use that setting)

select LTE bbpanic , select enable, click apply

enable class1 APN

enable class2 APN

power down phone and power phone back up .

When phone came back up there was a message I clicked ok to. Believe it said need to activate, not sure though but there was a flashing triangle at top in notifications beside cell signal strength.

then followed adam3's procedure again to get 3g.

When phone came back on I had 3g and hasn't dropped. Hope this will at least help some of you. I know the frustration envolved.

I had to put in the min and phone number Myself

Lost my 3G somehow on RAZR. had it working fine but just quit today. Can get 1G data by toggling to CDMA only but when i toggle back to CDMA and EVDO i lose all data. any thought?

Does it have to be a UN-used sim card as in never activated? I tried it tonight with a used bionic I got on ebay and it said activation failed when me and the tech support from page plus tried to activate it.

I also did not have no 902 update????

Network type is 1x, evdo rev a, ehrpd, lte 14 or something like that.

The activation is done automatically by the Sim card. Your network type needs to be set atty cdma only anf you have to write NV only to the phone worth cdma workshop or qpst first.

I tried following rollo69's advice but that didnt work. It always kicks over to cDMA-ehrpd network with or without sim card. Using PRL 51720

Anyone has a working 3G in a ICS Rom yet? Except CDMA workshop or qpst, is there anyway to load the prl from the phone directly?

3G works again on my Razr, but didnt change anything? toggled a few times yesterday to try and get it to work, but no luck - and this morning... presto.
