Bell Canada samsuang Galaxy SII in US

I have a 10 days trip to Disney World, FL coming up. Bell data roaming is ripoff so I am thinking to buy a sim card from T-Mobile to use data/voice.

I use a Bell sgs2 and wondered my bell SII could use T-Mobile network/sim card?

    Thanks,
    Mike

If your phone is unlocked, you can use it on the T-Mobile network. Keep in mind, that you will be limited to EDGE speeds as the Bell SGS II does support T-Mobile's AWS frequencies.

Have fun at DW! Make sure you ride "Soarin" in Epcot (my fave...lol)

@ROM66, 2G only?! this will make things diff... What are the t-mobile's AWS bands, I will have to check my phone's specs.

Thanks for the tip of Soarin, I will keep it in mind...

In the Disney World area you'll see speeds of around 160Kbps - 200Kbps. Several of the resorts are now offering free Wi-Fi in the lobby, bus/monorail stops, rooms, and by the pools. This may help with your data needs.
