    SH-11c on T-mobile

I am interested in getting a Docomo SH-11c. However I am concern of it not working on the t-mobile(US) network... The phone is advertise to work on UMTS (3G) 800/850/1700/2100 mhz. Does tmobile run on any of these bands? I live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

T-Mobile works on the 1700+2100 MHz frequencies, however it uses AWS and not UMTS. Bit different way of using the same or similar frequencies, but ultimately incompatible unless the phone supports AWS, which is doubtful at this point. Please refer to other similar posts about phone compatibility with T-Mobile for deeper discussions...
