Undocumented Zoom 4597 antenna port

My t mobile signal isn't all that great at work or at home, so I'd like to improve it a little. The zoom modem I bought doesn't say there's an external antenna connection, but under the SIM card lid there appears to be one. How can I figure out what it is and get a pigtail for it? Also I assume someone else makes this modem for Zoom, that might help me figure out the connector and maybe some generic software for the modem.

Generally tech support is worthless, and Zooms is no exception:

That is port for the microSD card memory so you can use the modem as a flash drive, please check the quick installation guide for a descriptions of the features for the modem.

Any update?

Was looking at the specs on MacMall site and it says UMTS 850/1900. No 1700 for T-Mo?

They must have left that out by accident, the box says both "works with tmobile 3G" and mentions AWS band support in the specs.

Tech support finally asked engineering and they said it isn't an antenna port... Damn
