What do you want to know about the Lumia 710?

Nokia Lumia 710, I has it (the Rogers version, unlocked), I've been playing with it for about a week and have a good feel about it, so I'll be doing a review in another week or so. In the mean time, if you have any specific questions that might not occur to me to look into, as it doesn't fit my regular usage, ask here, and I'll do what I can to get the answers.
The word 'Pentaband' means '5 Bands', from the Greek word 'pente' meaning '5'. For a phone to be pentaband it has to support 5 bands. If the phone has AWS support, it doesn't automatically mean that it is pentaband.

Don't send me PMs for questions that can be asked publicly.

Quite easy to unlock, the biggest challenge was actually paying the company as they used paypal rather than a credit card system. The other challenge is Windows Phone only gives the SIM unlock option when you insert a foreign card. I prefer the #pw+.... etc method of Symbian phones.

I'm reluctant to test MMS, I tried sending a picture message to my GF's DVP (on Mobilicity) and it ended up getting stuck and re-sending for several weeks. Not sure exactly what the problem was there, either Windows Phone, Mobilicity or a combination of both. Aside from MMS which I haven't tested, everything works, data was painless to enter, calls work fine, I can't think of anything that didn't work.

Hope u post a short video!!!,I wonder how fast does it catch the signal from cold boot or after coming out of dead spots (u may know of those issues on Nexus S, Panaches, SGS2 an others), in regards of Win7, how do u sync ur contacts?, Hotmail?, Windows Live Mail?, how much battery did u get in average (What kind of average things u do?)

I think that's all for now

Thank you for the info. If you're willing to give MMS another go, PM me for my WIND number

Takes 30-90 seconds to pull a signal after coming out of a dead area (automatically), will do it right away if I select it manually. I think it's a battery saving issue, so it's not draining power constantly looking for a signal.

At work right now, so I'll answer the other questions as I have time.

WP7 has a feature which allows you to make a hot spot without downloading any apps.

I can make a call without distortion or artifacts or lost sound in an underground parking lot where the Curve has those problems, so it's moderately better.

Battery usage I haven't had it long enough to be able to say for sure, with battery saver mode on I went 19 hours between charges with occasional text and WiFi usage throughout the day. It was predicting 2 hours left. I figure realistically 3.5 hours talk time tops. With the way it reports remaining charge and estimated time left I find it easy to moderate my usage that I last as long as I need to. I'm. Estimating around 6 hours of heavy usage in normal mode, but haven't been able to really test that.

Lumia phones at present do not support internet sharing. Nokia disabled it for all carriers.

Syncing contacts was quite painless entering my email for windows live, Facebook and zoho. I have only had to manually enter a few contacts so far. I'm actually a little disturbed at how much information is just out there in the cloud.

If you've asked a question and I missed it, please draw attention to it again. I think I got everything so far though. And keep the questions coming!

You can try this method as well. I used another micro sim to unlock, so I can't verify the first method.

These were the instructions I got from T-Mobile to unlock a Nokia Lumia 710:

Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. Below you will see the Instructions for unlocking your Nokia device.

If using a T-mobile SIM card:
    1. Insert T-Mobile Micro SIM card
    2. Turn on the handset
    3. Click on Phone Button from the Home Page
    4. Next click on the Keyboard
    5. Enter in: ##782#
    6. Next Click the Call Button (a box will appear to enter the PIN for unlocking)
    7. Enter the 8 digit Unlock Code that was provided
    8. Click on the Enter Key (device should read "PIN Accepted")

If using a Non T-Mobile SIM card:
    1. Insert T-Mobile Micro SIM card
    2. Turn on the handset
Note: the phone will display a message, "This SIM Card can only be used on specific networks. Contact you Customer Service Center for the unlock code. 10 attempts remaining."
    3. Enter the 8 digit Unlock Code that was provided
    4. Click on the Enter Key (device should read "PIN Accepted")
