Best Prepaid for Canada by Geographic Coverage?
So if someone in Canada asked me what to do about prepaid coverage (especially good geographic coverage) in the US, I'd point them at PagePlus cellular. They use the Verizon nationwide network which likely covers more geographic regions than any other. In addition, they have the option to roam. Cost per minute for voice can be as low as 4 cents per minute (depends on how much airtime you buy at once), but can easily be had at 10 cents a minute even with a small increment prepaid card. No really great data options unfortunately -- they exist, just not very cost-effective.
So my question is if there is a prepaid MVNO in Canada that gives me reasonably priced voice inside Canada, and good geographic coverage-- i.e. yes I want the best chance of it working in the boonies/remote areas.
Since Canada is so large, lets say I mainly am interested in BC and Alberta for now, although it would be nice if I could use same in the Eastern provinces. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Finally, while I don't know any "hot deals" for data in the US prepaid market, it would be good to know if a MVNO (same or different) has an offering for data i.e. MiFi or other that isn't super-expensive.

PS: There aren't a lot of US prepaid data plans that are cheap. If T-Mobile's coverage works for you in the US, you can buy a T-Mobile MiFi and 1Gb of data for 30 days for about $30 for the data, not counting the $80 for the device. And even though that doesn't sound super cheap to me, it's the best I've seen. If you need data in the boonies (i.e. Verizon or AT&T based), you'll probably pay more than triple that cost...
