    bring your own no internet at all

    Hi

    I got a at&t avail and the att card since this town is all att problem no internet wifi works but not reg phone internet,

    apn set like it says but the freaking phone keeps going back to the att wap apn. Any ideal what could be wrong here.

    You need to enter the APN settings as described in the website. (FYI: Both NET10 and Straight Talk use identical settings). Also, just in case, the last item on the Avail's APN settings reads "APN Type". Make sure that one is set to default,mms,supl making sure you include the commas but no spaces there. If you still can't connect, you need to contact customer care line for your particular service (NET10 or Straight Talk), and talk to tech support so they can provision your features correctly. Many BYOP users in Straight Talk have found our data not working upon activation and have had to call CS to get that problem sorted out.

    Download APN Backup and Restore from the Android Market and use it to delete all APNs....THEN create the new APN for Straight Talk.

    Wow....a Straight Talk Representative. On Howard Forums. I'm thinking this particular problem may already be solved though. All he needed to do was delete his AT&T APNs like I said.
