My dad's current contract with Bell is going to end very soon. He wants an iPhone 4S and I know that there is a way to change the localization to Chinese from the settings. The problem is that the screen is too small for him. He has to squint or put on glasses to read from the iPhone. I know that because he has used my iPhone 4 before. The Samsung Galaxy Note is coming out soon and the screen is massive. It'll be perfect for him, but I don't know if Android have Chinese localization or not. I know it have Chinese input if I install the correct software, but I want to change the menus to Chinese as well. Does anyone here know if this is possible for Android? Btw, he's capable of reading both simplified and traditional characters.

My Nexus S has 4 different sets of Kanji on it. One I recognize as Korean. One, I will presume is Japanese, so the other 2 would have to be Chinese in Simplified, and Traditional.

It depends on the phone, and where the phone was released, what locales are available. For example, on my phone (HTC Evo 4G running Android 2.3.5), the only locales available are English and Spanish.
I don't know if the Galaxy Note released in the US or Canada has Chinese as one of the available locales. If it doesn't, maybe an app like MoreLocale 2 (https://market.android.com/details?i...ccl.morelocale) can enable it for you.
