It is 3G. I had it flashed. There are places that do this that you can search online. Just use someone that you can talk with so if you have questions you can get an answer. This was the problem I had the first time I tried to get it flashed. I got my money back because that flash was done wrong.
The second time I had it done the person that did it correctly set it up and I then found out that to get the MMS to work you need a once activated sim card in it. The key word here is once activated not new!

Thats not true. I programmed mine without ever having a sim card in it. I dont even own a sim card that fits it. all I have is a micro sim. Mine worked without a hitch until I deactivated it. The only problem I had was that on the lock screen it would say something like "no sim card". I just used go locker and didnt see it anymore unless I restarted it.

You can flash it and run the Rezound without a SIM card. If you do not put one in that was once activated it will show on the start screen no SIM card.
As I stated since you must not have understood what was typed, with a once activated SIM card you will get the MMS working as well as the no SIM card error on the screen will go away.

Actually I did understand. Maybe I was just unclear to you. I HAD MMS WORKING WITHOUT A SIM CARD. My phone was fully working. THE ONLY PROBLEM was the no sim card error on the lock screen. again, MMS WORKED WITHOUT A SIM CARD.

One thing that can be said here. YOU can get the Rezound to work on 3G if properly flashed. Rather or not you put a once activated SIM card in it is your choice.
Finally figured out how to get FULL 3G on the Rezound on PP today!!! It was NOT easy :P!

I don't understand how you can have data working but no internet. Please explain further.

I also have the Rezound on P+. At first I had voice,sms,mms,and 1xdata working. After trying to get 3G working I lost mms and 1xdata.
I had the original verizon "sim" card installed at all times. When I take it out, calling still works but I get the nagging "no simcard" warning everytime I turn on the phone.
I think the issue with mms is something to do with the APN settings, and the issue with data is with the Shared Secret passwords....
