    Bell Sim Card Issue

    Hi,

I have a concern about the bell sim card and using it on unlocked phones. I have an unlocked blackberry from wind and when I put a mobilicity sim card in it, it works, when I put a rogers sim card inside, it works (on EDGE 2G) but when I put my bell sim card in it, it doesn't work. Can anyone tell me why this happens? Thank you.

That model supports 3G on the frequencies that WIND and Mobilicity use (1700 MHz), but not the ones that Rogers and Bell use (850 and 1900). Rogers has both 2G and 3G service there, which is why you get service (on 2G). Bell does not have a 2G service that is compatible with that handset. You cannot use it on Bell at all. Sorry.

Yup, you will have to get a Blackberry from Rogers or Telus (unlocked) or grab one from Bell.
