I cancelled my last Sprint line almost 4 weeks ago now and I never got the bill with ANY ETF's on them at all. I ported some numbers to PagePlus and one to AT&T. They sent me partial bills, but no ETF yet.
It's no wonder S is losing money.
Home ISP, RR-Turbo WiFi, $80/mo | Verizon 4G, $30/mo Unlimited
School, $5,000/semester | Work
My cousin was just with Sprint but was getting terrible service (surprise).
He was able to get out of his contract because of 6 days of down time over the past month.
They are going to let him off without the ETF if he sends sends the iPhone 4S back.
If he doesn't they will obviously charge him the ETF.
My question is, if he pays the ETF will the ESN be free and clear and be able to reactivated on Sprint by someone else?
You only get one bite of the apple. If your cousin does not return the phone, he will be charged the retail price for it. Sprint will consider it a stolen phone.
