How long can you go without paying balance before losing your number and plan?

Hey guys,

I'm on the $30 prepaid plan and am finding that my data usage hasn't always been that high. With that in mind, how often do I need to pay the $30 monthly bill before my number expires? I do recall Virgin Mobile gives you up to 30 days.

60 days before you lose the plan and get switched to pay by the minute, and 90 more until you lose the number.

I have a related question. If I'm on pay by the day, does it mean I have 150 days to refill before I lose my number and the sim is deactivated? I ask because I plan on buying a sim for use during my trips to the US.

You have 90 days from when the account is empty before your account is deactivated. After 90 days your SIM won't work and you'll need to get a new SIM with activation card and get a new number.
