i'd say camerapro is the best. the camera lovers pack just has a bunch of filters and stuff. nothing really useful.

For camera replacement apps there really just is camera pro and camera QT from the same guy, QT looks better but PRO is faster and better apparently.

Although having purchased camera PRO IMO it's not ready to be a replacement for the stock one. It freezes, it's slow, the interface is ugly, it doesn't work always as you would expect. Sometimes the focus doesn't work, it's pain when trying to take a quick pic to notice the phone isn't focusing. It takes a few to many clicks to get video going.

    I really don't like it.

that and the file sizes, it gets a little crazy after 95% and I don' think the quality gain is justified. I've posted this before I think.. but I am using this custom ROM

Its stable, and it produces great photographs. The jpeg compression is set to 95% by default, so no need for camera pro.

Are there any other benefits using that CFW? Have you ever used the default Belle and if so is the CFW speedier? The reason I was wondering is that I have heard you get more space in C?

I've used the default belle, and several different CFWs ... to be honest the speed is about the same, the PRO version feels a little faster here and there, but overall its the same.

You have more room in C: because they get rid of some built in apps, like the office suite and Ovi store, which you can install on your own.

The main two things for me are the camera quality, and the fact that he moved the browser cash to E: instead of C: so you don't have to clear it every two days.

Also, you can install unsigned apps.. if you wish.

There is a new version: http://forum.dailymobile.se/index.php?topic=61574.0

you can change the theme and all those visual effects go away.

    Hi,

Do you have another link of the video or possibly another copy somewhere? Going to buy a N8 soon flashing it to this firmwire:

Seems the way to go in terms of improving the functionality and also fixing the camera problems? The firmware does fix the camera doesn't it?

    Cheers.
