So a couple of days ago i flashed a Droid X to Metro Pcs with everything working and i activated with the *228 shortcut but today i flashed another Droid X using another Ebay guy to add my esn and for some reason it wont let me program it and sends me to the metro customer service and of course they dont have a clue of anything thats going on.Anyways,How can you tell if you Esn really got added to Metropcs? The ebay guy keeps on insisting that he did add it but i sense something fishy.
Yea if it was added. You should have no issue. On that phone if you sbf you will lose all your metro settings. I would try creating a hardware port and making sure your min and mdn are still programmed to the phone. You can skip *228 by just doing it yourself with qpst or similar programs. I have had to sbf and lost my flash and it would call Verizon to activate. I would just do what I stated above and have no issues. If that doesn't work once u add metro prl and your numbers then the esn wasn't added.
www.***************** that should show if it is free and clear or on an account. does this person put the esn onto your account or just add the esn to the database?
The whole thing with that it won't show if its on metro. It will only tell you if its bad for sprint or whatever carrier. For example I can run mine right now that's on metro and it tells me its clean for activation. His problem is that he paid someone to add his phone through ebay and they didn't do it or he is programming something wrong
i'm sure a friend of mine in the business would charge less than that... i can ask for you... someone else already asked me anyways.. i'll probably find out tomorrow...
