    Verizon's web site... user reviews turned "off" (?)

    Has anyone else noticed that the user review area on the phones on Verizon's site hasn't been updated in some time, as though new review postings have been disabled by Verizon?

    Example - Razr Maxx's last new review was Jan 31. Similar on other phones... not even one posted for the Droid 4 yet.

    These phones typically get good review, so I don't see why they'd shut down user comments - it's not like tons of folks are trashing them. Any ideas why it's not working? I haven't seen any postings about it elsewhere.

    I noticed the same thing. I am looking to upgrade a phone and like to read the reviews first. As you said, there aren't any recent reviews. I don't know why it's not working. I wonder if Verizon intentionally disabled the reviews or if this is unintentional. Surely they must be aware of this.

    Yeah, the phones don't show any new reviews past Jan 31st or Feb. 1st . That's two weeks of no new reviews, and on average they used to add 15-50 per day depending on the phone.

    If whoever does their site isn't aware of this, they're not doing their job very well. People really do use these reviews to make purchasing decisions. And especially with a new device like the Maxx, they want to read the latest reviews from those who have at least had it a couple of weeks.

    I'm not seeing what you're seeing. A spot check of the top 5 smartphones and the top 3 feature phones shows reviews up through 13 February. Still, that's 3 days behind the present).
