Nope...all is well up here in Michigan... although...sometimes this does happen to me, but it has never lasted for more than half of a day.

Anyone else experiencing a delay or lack of text messages coming in? I haven't received any since Saturday afternoon.

me in tampa fl on my Lg esteem sometimes txt message fails sending so i have to retry sending asfar as recieving txt i get them fine.
sometimes lately it has been working OK but yes I have experienced in the past

Conspiracy! either that your phone was constipated but yea if i remember correctly you in the new port richey area perhaps ya are experiencing backed up network or something.
wagonis....do you do the whole ##626* thing? To refresh it on Metro's towers... that's what I do when I run in to that and it seems to help.

I had problems with my multimedia messages here in lakeland florida not going out.
Those areas no offense are more country than city we see lots of acres of land with cows and horse and what not but what im trying to say metro need to spread more into rual areas. Thank god im not a country boy! "sorry john denver" lol jk
just in case others are having problems ever and in the future...
dial *228 and say roaming list (updates your prl aka the software that communicates with the towers.) check your programming (mdn, min, sid,) pull the battery for 5 minutes, have metro refresh your account in the switch (ideal to do while waiting that 5 minutes of battery pull, wait to put battery back in after the account is refreshed.) if after that it still is having issues have metro issue a trouble ticket. make sure to include any certain locations if it is location specific and not just everywhere. take note of the person you spoke with, day, time, ticket number, etc... if after the stated time from the trouble ticket number you are still having issues then have your local store email their asr with all your info to include the trouble ticket number, phone number, name on account, and pin on account (usually bday.)
