1) Virgin Mobile doesnt have LTE yet.
2) Unless you have the Galaxy S2 LTE from Rogers, all other Galaxy S2 phones are not LTE. So even if you do have the Rogers Galaxy S2 LTE, you will not get LTE speed since VM is not an LTE network yet.

Even though the parent network has LTE, a virtual network like Virgin (even if it is OWNED by Bell Mobility) doesn't have to provide it. Fido doesn't presently offer LTE and they're owned by Rogers and work on the Rogers network. You'll only get LTE if the network allows your LTE phone to log in, and since Virgin doesn't yet offer an LTE plan, no phone running a Virgin SIM will successfully log into the Bell LTE network.
Bell has launched an LTE network in a few cities, including Toronto.
From what I've seen so far, Virgin has made no official statement about an LTE launch. No devices in their current lineup supports LTE.
Also, to access LTE, you need a new LTE SIM card instead of your current HSPA SIM card. Combined with a compatible device, and probably with some switch to enable it on your plan in Bell's/Virgin's systems.
Virgin Mobile is getting LTE very soon from what I've read.
Getting speeds around 5-7Mbps isn't all that uncommon on the Big 3's HSPA+ network. I have seen speeds around 10Mbps down on Rogers' HSPA+ many times.

If and when Virgin provides a V3 SIM, then you'll get LTE.
I can't speak for how Bell Mobility might have set things up, but on Rogers just having the correct LTE SIM is still not enough to get you on the LTE network. Your account must be properly provisioned. I suspect that Bell Mobility works the same way, in which case there's no way you're going to get a Virgin Mobile account provisioned to allow LTE (unless you have someone on the inside).
Lol, rotflmbfao I'm sorry but that is just too funny. VM getting LTE, I think it more likely that Sprint would get LTE and VM and Boost would get the full spectrum of Sprints 3G service.
Sprint would use their 4g and LTE for contract only customers.
Seriously despite what you might see in print, reasonably I doubt this would happen in the next 10 years.
