Brand new galaxy attain had EV (EVDO)signal.
it was working fine, but within minutes after activation, i messed with the network provider from "automatic" to "metro only" and the signal was lost.
now i either get no signal or signal with roaming logo. calls wont go thru.
Anyone with a clue how to fix this or what the problem is???? thanks.
just do a rest to ur phone if ur concerned about dealing with adding your contacts back i suggest you install a backup app that dosnt require a rooted phone since i know there isnt a root for the attain just yet and backup your contacts. then do a full reset and it should be back to normal.

All Android phones sync your contacts to your google account, why would you need to back them up?
