    Samsung Moment with new ST plan

    My son felt sorry for me with my "dumb phone, and gave me his old Samsung Moment to use with the new ST byop deal. My question: Will I lose my remaining balance on my current ST phone? I got in on the $99 phone plus 3 month card deal so I am paid through May. (thanks for the tip on that HOFO- sold the phone for $45) Any other issues with the Moment? It is a Sprint phone..

    The Samsung Moment is a CDMA phone. It will not work on Straight Talk's bring your own device plan. You would need a GSM phone, one that uses a SIM card.
