My battery is toast (i have a esteem, same as revolution), when to Verizon Corp Store, told them i wanted to buy a the extended battery with cover, guy went to ring me up and asked for my phone #, gave it to him and he said it wasnt in the system, in the end he refused to sell to me because i am a non-verizon customer ??
Try different store?
I don't understand why that should matter if you're Verizon customer or not - don't they want to sell stuff?
It's not tied to any contract, and the purchase would be at full retail price, right?
What?! Seriously? I worked in cellular retail for a long time, accessories were great commission and always looked good. I didn't care if a user wasn't a customer.
Home ISP, RR-Turbo WiFi, $80/mo | Verizon 4G, $30/mo Unlimited

I agree, he was acting like i was a shady person once he found out i wasnt a customer lol. I guess he doesnt make commission ? It was just weird you need to provide a cellphone number to buy a accessory.

I thought it was strange that when my check card got stolen and I went into a premium retailer to pay my bill with cash that they asked to see my I.d. This was disturbing cuz if some random person should decide to pay my bill out of the goodness of their heart I don't want them to not take their money!
