Is there an APN workaround that does not require Wi-Fi access? - SOLVED!

I'm trying to get internet to work on my iphone 3g. Just have the straight talk att sim, and my old att sim. My problem is that I do not have wifi on this phone..something is wrong with it, but was willing to just use 3g for the limited amount of data I use. I can't enter apn though, all I have is vpn, and since I have wifi access I can't get to the site listed either. Is there another work around?

There is a program I believe it is called iPhone Configuration Utility that allows you to change your apn profile by usb connected to a computer. If your apn settings are locked I am not sure if it would work either but it may be worth a try.

Thank you so much! So, what I did was I downloaded the iPhone Configuration Utility, ran it. While plugged in via usb, I added the file I downloaded which was Straighttalk.mobileconfig I added it under configuration profiles. Pressed load or whatever, and it automatically showed up on my phone. Ran it, and now have internet. Albeit, slower than my virgin mobile connection by a decade. HOpefully in a better location, this won't be the case!

I for one don't care what the data speeds are we get what we pay for and it's worth it.
