I can confirm that Fido will offer LTE service as soon as network capacity is available. That being said, at this moment, we do not have any time frame for the launch.
No, no that doesn't really help. Telus and Bell have LTE! Anyone looking for LTE just jump ship!

Just make sure to jump to Bell or Telus and avoid ROGERS, since it's Rogers marketing decisions that have left Fido LTE out in the cold so far. Hit 'em where it hurts, don't migrate to the Rogers brand.
But what's the point in weighing in without any sort of meaningful clarification?
According to this redboard article, network capacity should be available ... Or so Rogers would have us believe?
Please refer to the following quote:
LTE delivers higher speeds and lower latency than 4G HSPA+ which means a better experience for customers using highly interactive applications like multi-player gaming and rich multi-media communications. And it will deliver more usage capacity which means more users can access the network at top speeds simultaneously.
I wish Rogers leadership team would quit treating the Fido brand like a ******* dog and manage the brand with more respect. At least give your Fido customers an ETA and stop the canned bs responses that make no sense, lack consistency and provoke frustration. Why keep your loyal customers in the dark?? I just don't get it.
Fuk man!
Thanks,
Dunny

...I think there's too many variables right now to give an ETA (My opinion).
I can understand your frustrations but at one point, trowing rumors like they did with the Nokia E71 and then turn over and kill it isn't much better...
New stuffs are coming...don't know what and when...

I already have a bell account and a bell lte sim card I had to sign up with bell in order to buy my first sgs2. Their lte network is worthless first of all there's no coverage in my area (DDO), I popped it in my phone and drove around and it only picks up lte in and around downtown. The only other option is telus but I already have two three year contracts I'm not about to get another.
