So hopefully xtachx will not be stricken with a "six months to live" ailment, because I already know I'll be on their bucket list, and maybe some other members, and not in a good way.

Are you serious? He likes Mobilicity, enough that sometimes he can be a little blind to their faults, but he's not mentally unhinged.

Again, he's here to enforce the rules as written by Howard, not moderate the content. Don't break any rules and you'll be fine, and if you're not, there are plenty of people you can PM to address it.

Here's what I do know:

1) Openly posted that they would have LIED to get ahead.

2) Everyone here knows they're biased for Mobilicity, except apparently xtachx themselves.

For all I know, any posting like yours, could even just be xtachx himself, since I point to another of their "telling" posts as to character:

That doesn't even make sense. Unless you're implying a tin foil hat might be a better choice for a mod. Usually posters only say that when they have nothing else.

So bottom line, if being a mod, simply means they only make sure no one posts swear words, then yes xtachx is a great choice. I mean over 4,000 post in just over a year. Hey, lots of time on their hands to look for swear words.

But, if a mod is expected to have some integrity, honesty, and good character, "Howard-ston, we have a problem."

It's not like xtachx has been handed the keys to the Mobilicity forum and Howard et al just walked away. He has established guidelines he will be expected to follow, as well as people who he must explain his actions to, if necessary, and vBulletin's mod tools have safeguards in place to make sure that other moderators are aware of what he is doing.

Personally, I feel like xtachx is often overtly favourable toward Mobilicity in his opinions, but he's respectful to other members and regularly active here. As long as he follows the mod guidelines given to him (and I think he will), his personal opinions shouldn't prevent him from being a quality moderator.

xtachx is not assigned to the Mobilicity forum alone, (s)he is partnered with a senior moderator who will assist in the day-to-day moderation.
between the two of them, i am sure the forum is in good hands.

Go easy on xtactx guys - if you genuinely have a problem with xtachx moderating this forum (and by extension his behaviour in other forums) then you should take it up privately with howard. Just remember to be both honest and factual (and provide valid examples of your facts) when you do, otherwise you're just blowing hot air.

although i dont want to discourage anyone from contacting Howard, if any user has a problem with the moderation of the Mobilicity forum the first point of contact is the forum moderators, xtachx and Moderator HF 41. your next point of contact is the site’s moderator supervisor-Jay.

And this is my point e-xtachx-ly. Does every one think this is a proper post, and should not have been modded? It's simply a personal attack with no basis of fact....forcing me to reply with same.

This thread was about the appointment of mods, not about whether the mods have actually done anything wrong. So saying one can report a mod, isn't really relevant to the appointment discussion. And certainly not a reason to not discuss. Whereas taking about proven moral character is....

Actually, I was suggesting that a nice tinfoil hat might take care of that crippling paranoia. You're right, I did have nothing else, because I can't have a rational discussion with someone who isn't rational. It's interesting though, that you're suggesting that I'm not the first to recommend tinfoil for you?

There are significant safeguards in place to ensure that if xtachx (or any other moderator) goes off the rails they will still be held in check. If you can't trust that system, then you're suggesting that you don't trust Howard, Jay, HF41, or any of the other people working to keep that system running. If that really is the case, then I don't know why you're still here.
