I am thinking of taking advantage of the B1G1 Razor Maxx deal currently available.
I currently have a Droid X, but ever since I zapped it with static electricity in the house, it hasn't quite been the same. I really had no negative issues with the phone prior to the zapping.
What I am really looking for are reasons that I shouldn't get it! What things are wrong with it that I should think twice about?
Did you get the Maxx? I got one recently and the only things I don't like are the size (too big) and the non-removable battery. Otherwise it is a nice device. It is fast with a plenty of storage and a pretty good screen. Battery life is very good compared to other Android devices. LTE is fast.
Battery on Maxx is by far better than any stock battery out there. Easily get 2 days without a charge. Also it will accept a 64 GB micro sd card if you have a lot of music, photos, video, etc. Also will be updated to ICS in about 3 weeks. The negative is all the verizon bloatware. Not the best screen or camera out there. Otherwise, best smartphone I have owned.
I just got the Maxx a couple days ago. I had a Thunderbolt and the battery life was really bad. I'm not a heavy user, but, the Thunderbolt would only last one day if I was lucky. Yesterday I unplugged the Maxx at 7AM and played with it most of the day and at 8PM I still had 80% battery left. I'm really impressed with it. I wasn't out of contract so I added a line to get the lower price and transferred my Thunderbolt to my wife who had a dumb phone. Granted my bill has gone up, but, I got what I wanted and I'm happy.
