Hi there I'm just wondering if the Samsung Exhibit II 4G will work on Mobi/Wind. I am considering it because I want an Android and I'm on a budget and seems pretty good for a cheap android.
It will work, if it's not carrier-locked to T-Mobile. You can Google for places that unlock phones for a modest fee. http://theunlock.ca is one place I keep seeing mentioned here on the board, but I have no idea if an unlock is available for the Exhibit II 4G.
Or you can get a Nexus S which is down to $300 from Mobilicity (maybe less at a dealer willing to discount). Many NS's are being replaced by newer dual-core phones these days so you might be able to find a used one in good condition for a good deal less than $300.
OK thanks for the suggestions but I already bought it so i'm going to use it. Do you know if theunlock.ca is actually legit or is it a scam because at the top it shows unlock a blackberry for $1 which is really cheap.
Actually Never Mind with Theunlock.ca you have to buy credits and a bunch of other crap which makes it expensive. I think I'm going to go with http://www.cellunlocker.net because it is legit and they charge $28.99 to unlock it which is not bad.

cellunlocker charges $28.99 to unlock the Exhibit II 4G from T-mobile? Wow!
Are you sure? They only charge $7.99 for Rogers phones, and $14.99 for Bell phones.
