Some might find it a little confrontational. I'll be the first to point out issues with Rogers' behavior, but I can see the need for not naming a forum with too combative or argumentative a title.

    A couple more serious ideas:
    -Rogers Customer Advocacy[or Assistance] forum
    -Rogers Consumer Affairs Forum
Unlocked Pentaband iPhone 5 (AWS), unlocked iPhone 4
Unlimited airtime, Unlimited CAN/US long distance, Unlimited SMS to CAN/US wireless numbers
2500 Call Forwarding minutes to CAN/US numbers
    CiD, 6GB
Google Voice for visual voice mail with message transcription, conditional greetings, unlimited messages (vs 35 message cap), remote retrieval from any PC or phone, no auto-purge after 10 days and most importantly no $7-$8 charge.

very good names, I'd like it to be a bit more specific

Perhaps: Rogers Consumer Affairs, where to post if you feel you're not getting what you were promised.

^Some users may not comprehend the definition of "Rogers Consumer Affairs"..just my opinion.

Any suggestions that better define the subsections goal, within the title?

That would work well I think - with little room to interpret it as an "angry with Rogers" subforum.

Re, the new sub-forum related to unwelching:

    Of the general:
I think the first thing to really do in all this is determine what posts we want to have drawn into that sub-forum. I suspect that among us there might be a fair amount of variation.

If it were named something generic, like 'Rogers' Failed Obligations' that would invite perhaps even posts about mgr callbacks that didn't happen - is that what is wanted for that sub-forum? Who knows, we haven't defined what we want the forum to attract.

Is this new section a place for people to post that they got nailed (congruent with their contract) $600 for roaming, and how can they get that reduced? That's not a contract dispute - it's (probably at least) a complaint.

I'm inclined to see the posts in this section confined to Rog's contractual obligations being unmet - it's a nice, specific topic.

But I think that more thought & discussion needs to go into defining what posts will, and won't belong there.

Then let form (the section's name) follow its function.

Somebody recently posted a lament about so many of the posts in this place being slagging Rog, and it not being so much an enthusiast forum any more. There's probably a few contributing reasons for that but IMO one of them is increased dissatisfaction from cx's about carriers in general, and 'all the posts' griping about that are simply a reflection of a new, growing reality (in addition to the reality that the enthusiast market is likely in decline).

It'd behoove HoFo, if they're interested in those contract/complaint/remedy eyeballs as much as those of the enthusiasts, to consider a way to make the expression of complaints and the receipt of helpful, accurate and friendly advice as easy and satisfying as possible.

    Of the specific:
I think that there may be made an argument to not have an entire sub-forum devoted to the topic of unwelching but just a single stickied thread ... just as the RET section started.

That was sort of the philosophical angle I was speaking of there, ^bubble. Was the RET evolution from:
    - too_many_threads to
    - stickied_thread to
    - sub-section_with_fixed_threads to
    - sub-section_with_thread_creation

a template for how future topics that start to overwhelm the main forum be 'graduated'? Was that progression a success for RET? Should the topic of unwelching go through the same progression?

I'm somewhat undecided about whether I think that a single stickied-thread on main forum is more effective (or easier to use). I have a sneaking suspicion that my stock response to most every post in the unwelching forum will include, well, /UnWelching.

One of the advantages of a single stickied-thread is that it almost forces anyone who would post in it to read at least a few of the previous responses ... and if the responses are often the same the reader will know their answer without even having to post ... which is the ideal (from the answer-seeker standpoint) and will cut down on redundancy (frequent visitors like this, obviously).

Anyway, thoughts on a full section devoted to the issue of unwelching vs a single stickied-thread?

As for a title (be it sub-section or single stickied-thread), I'd make my second choice:
"When Rogers Reneges, and How to Undo It"

(There is little else that's as attractive as seeing, in the google results, a page titled 'How to Undo your_problem' : )
