Yeah, hopefully this goes better than with the e7 and e6 which I both returned. As long as email doesn't screw up a lot I should be good (since I rely on email on my phone for work). I've been satisfied with Opera mobile videos on youtube and looks like thats improved a bit as well. Crossing fingers.
^^^^^ you guys prime members? i called and they said saturday delivery only available for prime members....you guys are lucky, i'm getting mine monday

amazon has the phone, now where do we get those official accessories?
Initial impressions of my 808:
* Phone is a lot less bulky and "big" than all the articles have led me to believe. If anything there is noticeable weight, but the phone is pretty sleek otherwise
* Resolution is not as bad as I had feared. In fact it maintains a classic sort of Nokia aesthetic that I appreciate. Will see once I get into text reading whether it actually becomes an issue.
*Keyboard is as terrible as they say. Hopefully that update is coming soon. Even slowly typing results in errors, the keys are just too narrow and I have skinny fingers.
*Update is taking forever.
* I can confirm I am getting "3.5G" connection
At 12:28, I check my UPS tracking number and see this
11:42, UPS says they attempted to deliver. I was home and heard no knock. There's no delivery slip anywhere.
I call them and they tell me the driver delivered it to the wrong address and can't deliver until Monday.
This is where I pretend I'm the Hulk and start smashing things.
Out of the blue, UPS shows up my N8 is delivered. Massive relief and excitement.
So far, it the 808 with Belle FP1 feels the same as the N8 without feeling suffocated.
I'll head over to the AT&T store to get a microsim later this afternoon.
The phone build wise feels strong solid. It feels indestructible.
The screen is not all that bad.
The UI is not as fluid as meego but it works.
Anyone able to get the weather widget to show temperature in Fahrenheit instead of celsius???
The app shows it correctly, just not the widget. A Google search shows this has been an issue since February and Nokia claims updates fixed it by I'm up to date and no fix.
