I've never had the phone completely turn itself off in the 20 days I've had the phone. I only notice the reboot as I keep track of what applications are open (its happening once or twice a day). I changed to GSM and hasnt rebooted in the past 2 days which confirms its a 3G issue.
Had to do battery pull 3 times, all involving the camera screen going blank.
It could just be I haven't been in a very low 3G area to experience the phone-totally-off yet.
MMmm tempting to sign up with tmobile for 1 month just to try it out. $30 for 5GB/100 mins. To see if issues are specific to at&t

dpreview deals only with cameras, I don't recall them reviewing a smartphone camera ever before ..

I bought this SanDisk Mobile Ultra 32GB microSDHC Card SDSDQY-032G-U46 from amazon, anyone know if this will work with 808?
It will work just fine.
Ok, the camera is amazing.. given, lots going on for it. But, for me, the most amazing part is that it manages to produce great quality in incredibly small file sizes. I guess the PureView algorithm really works, cleaning up the image from junk/noise, so you are left with.. detail.
460 kb @ 5Mpix.it doesn't make any sense otherwise.

From the horse's mouth:
@JoikuSpot: Unfortunately wifi tethering has been blocked in the 808 Pureview models in the USA.

So is it the actual model being sold on Amazon that is blocked? What if you imported one from the UK or Asia would it be blocked also? I really want to buy the 808 but I really need JoikuSpot. I guess I'm stuck with my N8 for now...
It is almost certainly implemented in software. The N9 has similar restrictions. The thread below elaborates.

I'm in the usa and i have an 808 from singapore and joikuspot light and premium do not work. This kinda stinks...
So far all most everything about 808 great except the keyboard and symbian which is slow compared to meego on the n9 which I previously owned. What do you guys thing is better 808 or n9?
