    MTP problem SOLVED! DoCoMo M-Sync

Now here's an useful app - DoCoMo M-Sync - written specifically to overcome the problem of MTP mode not working on DoCoMo phones, e.g. because for the SIM + Hypersim combination.

The application was written by Weaknespase and I gave him a hand with the testing, writing the Help file and the naming of the app. He preferred that I make the original post. I am hosting the app on my website - link to it here, or you can access it by going to the home page, then clicking "Applications", then "DoCoMo M-Sync".

DoCoMo M-Sync lets you transfer WMA files to your DoCoMo phone, as well as edit/delete tracks/playlists. It's very simple and intuitive to use, but still, here are brief instructions (also contained in the Readme file):

    How to use:
    1. Connect your DoCoMo phone to the PC:
    1.1. Plug USB cable
1.2. Select USB icon on display (USB mode setting)
1.3. Enter USB menu and choose "microSD mode"

    2. Launch application and connect to database by choosing "Connect" under "File" menu.

    3. To add new tracks, drag and drop WMA files (or folder containing WMA files) on the application window.
3.1. To view or edit track data, double click on desired track data (Title/Author/Album/Genre) and make the changes you want.
3.2. Tracks can have a max. bitrate of 256 kbit/s. Hhigher bitrate tracks will show in the application and in the phone's music player but they will not play.

    4. When you have finished working with the database, disconnect by choosing "Disconnect" or "Exit" under "File" menu.

IMPORTANT! Always disconnect (Step 4) when you have finished working with the application or changes (edits or new song uploads) will not be saved.

If you encounter any problems or have suggestions, contact Weaknespase directly or post in this thread.

I am going to buy me the F-02D, only to test it for you, and then let you know. Please wait a year or two. Or test it yourself.

I have no idea, sorry. It works just fine for me and I don't think it is phone model dependent. I'd update my ActiveX (and Windows) to get the latest updates. Then you can try running the app as Administrator.

have you try to install the .net framework? usually that fix issues with programs not opening properly.

I am having problems attempting to open the application but it's giving me the
    "Run-time error '339':
Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"

I tried redownloading it to see if I missed any files but it's giving me the same error.

Your problem isn't with the app itself. It is a problem with your own Windows system. There are many websites that offer solutions for your problem. Search for 'COMDLG32.OCX' and read.
