I like the idea of punching holes in the back of the case....brilliant idea! Bet it runs 5's in the 1/4 mile!

Now the bad news....you won't be able to use some apps you download from amazon app store without app store app installed. I heard a rumor about it and I. Tried it last night. I know tube mate has their own website if you can find it as well. Tube mate seems to work ok after uninstall. I think it may only be the app of the day ones that don't work?

I used to use avast on pc then my pc started sloing down bad a few months ago and I heard one of the updates caused it to do so for some users. I switched to ms essentials. Seems ok?

I never liked the gimmick of Amazon App Store, just because I don't want to have anything on my phone that's linked irrevocably to my credit (well, debit) card. GetJar has free apps too, but they act like cracked apps that can be used without GetJar installed.

I wouldn't go negative on Avast because of a temporary error... Heck, Norton had that issue for the past ten years straight

I had this problem where the phone is stuck on "obtaining IP address..." And the only solution I found was to restart my router. I don't like it; I don't know what the problem is, but it fixes the problem.

I tried it & it did not work. SO then I deleted & re entered the security code & now it seems to work.. I hope it stays that way!

    Thanks again for the tip!

Sorry for the double post but just a quick statement....

I only had this phone about a half day but I gotta tell you...I LOVE IT!

It is so responsive after using the Intercept. I cant even imagine going back to the Intercept!

I have a Samsung Vibrant & let me tell you this reminds me of the Vibrant's little brother. Screen is sweet, touch is sensitive enough, fast & snappy! I LOVE IT! Plus my Data speed doubled using it so something was up with the Intercept?

Thanks again all for the help!

^ your next step will be a tablet, trust me.

And what I did was target a tablet with similar specs as my OV, just a little faster, few mroe options and bigger screen.

my tablet is now just an extension of my phone and loving it.

I looked at cheaper tablets for quite a while.

Anything I found around the $100 range ended up being no good or sold out.

Dont really have the money to spend on a high end one.

My Samsung Vibrant has become an Android I-Pod Touch now. Thats as close as I got.

    I paid $114 shipped.

    flsuperstore.com

he has more like mine coming, pre modded tested and updated to work right.

IM getting another from him soon, next one will cost $140 for a couple of extra options.
[USB device support for a gamepad]

I like the 7in ones, right size for inbetween phone and laptop.

With FoxFi, tablets can be used on a phone's data plan. With Android, developers can create inexpensive but effective tablets. I have found the two work together well.
