Angry How many days did it take to get your Next Day delivery, actually shipped?

Well this serves me as an experience. It is something I wasn't aware would affect order processing, thus affecting shipping/delivery swiftness or lack there of.

I ordered a TMO BYOP SIM + Service Card on Saturday. Since they don't process orders during the weekend. It was not really "in progress" until Monday.

Looking at the order tracking on Monday. I realize it's not gonna get delivered on time. So I call to request status, then requested to cancel the order. CS says she can't once it's processed..

Hum ok.. I asked on Facebook ST wall support. Submitted a Ticket. Got a reply in email asking me for certain order information. An email reply every 1-2 hours.. But not asking me for all the information he needed to process my request in one email.

So, something I asked about at noon, wasn't done until 4pm. I told the rep that I needed to cancel this order because they couldn't change the shipping method and would place a new order with next day delivery instead.

Ok, got confirmation that the request to cancel had been submitted and issued a new ticket. I placed a new order at 5pm with FedEx next day delivery.

I ask the same rep if there were any problems with the order and if it would actually be processed for delivery tomorrow. He says there is nothing wrong with the order. There is usually nothing wrong with the actual delivery once the other is processed.

He replies, the problem is when one places an order using a different delivery address from the billing address..

Sigh, he was late on giving me that information. It is usually not a problem as I have my delivery address on file with the credit card and have always used it, as it is my office address, where someone is always there to sign for and receive deliveries. The billing address is just a mailing address, so no one there.

So to save someone else considering placing and order and expecting a certain level of expedience on it's processing and delivery. I suggest doing what the rep suggested.

Annoying to say the least, but it's common procedures and in affect to protect the consumer/credit card user..

Hope it helps, and saves someone some grief.

That's all fine and dandy, but not when you pay as much for the shipping ($15) as you do for the product ($15) to get it expedited. Then there would have been no reason to switch to next day delivery from free 3 day delivery, if it's not gonna get delivered the next day.

They have called me from loss prevention department to verify my purchase before, it was days later, I wasn't up against a deadline (end of service) then, shipping was free too, so it didn't matter.

Luckily I have a direct number to the management team to check. Unfortunately they are just as limited, but they do offer to call back when status changes.

24 Hours+ later, 3 hours past their 3PM EST cut off time. After being told it wasn't even 24 hours yet since my order was placed, and that it would be processed for sure by today's cut off time, with tracking information about tomorrow's delivery. I sit here looking at status tracking page with "in progress" still..

Lol, I've not even gotten an order confirmation email yet. Wonder what's going on, new orders overwhelming their shipping department?

I am not even getting replies on Facebook wall, not even the automated response after submitting a trouble ticket..

Anyone else here ordered recently experiencing problems?

Ordered my ATT sim on February 23rd, got order confirmation immediately.

    February 24th got shipping information.

Received sim today. Not terrible considering there's a weekend in there too.

The thing that gets me is that the package requires a signature and you have to wait for it to be delivered to be able to reroute it and pick up at a local fedex location.
The only reason I was able to get my sim today was because luckily the delivery came early enough in the day that I was still at home.

All this doesn't really matter because now I have to sit around with anxiety until around march 11th and wait for my month to finish with VM. That's the worst part!

12:47am 02/29/2012 Order status in progress.. This is an order placed on Monday paying extra for Next Day Delivery. Might as well just have kept the free 3 day shipping at this point, don't ya think? At least an order confirmation email would have been nice.

Patience, I bought stuff from DealExtreme 6 weeks ago, 3 things out of 6 got shipped 2 weeks after. I have yet to see even tracking info on those. 1 more item got shipped 3 weeks after. Um I still haven't heard about the first 3 that were shipped.. lol

One of the 2 items still pending to be shipped is a SIM to microSIM cutter.

Since then I manually cut one, went to a shop cut another. Bought 5 microSIMs from that shop for $1 each. I've switched carriers from Simple Mobile to Straight Talk. Since sold my iPhone and use a SGH-989.

Patience? perhaps next month or the next that slow boat from China will arrive.. haha

By then I wonder what will have happened.

Anyways regardless the order will arrive too late to port and have it active without a lapse in service. Will just have to stay with the current provider and wait for April..

    Hi Clockcycle.

We're sorry for the trouble. To avoid fraud issues, we have a department that examine and decide whether a purchase will be approved or not. I already informed you that using different addresses for your billing and shipping could possibly cause the delay. I understand that you have to send it to a different address but again, the decision will still depend on the department who will approve your purchase. As long as it's not approved yet, no phone will be processed and sent to you. I'm sorry.
