Reply With Quotedo not do the update. My phone did the same thing now it is going to take a month to send my phone in and get it back so they can reinstall the software.

Has anybody installed the update for your prevail? I got it yesterday, but haven't installed it. My wife tried to install it and now her phone is not booting up.

It's Android 2.3.6. Mine just updated. I think it's mainly a security update. Looks the same and seems to be running the same.

i went ahead and allowed the system update, it's been a little over 2 hours and still looking at boost mobile icon
how long should the update take?

mines is working fine and the boost icon is under the main app screen
I've climbed a cellphone tower
I ended up getting an update yesterday morning. I upgraded and there was a few changes. New useless application called BoostZone. The application just has a few bookmarks to manage your account and pay your bill. Also the screen for when you receive an incoming call is slightly different. It fixed a bug with call waiting. So far that is all I have noticed.

The unlock button is different when in a call its wider and it says "Press Power Key at top to unlock"

Just got this this morning, so put it on - takes 15 min or so. Android 2.3.6 .
Seems fine.

I also noticed when viewing PDF's in ThinkFree instead of scrolling left to right to advance to the next page you just scroll down. (Major improvement in my opinion!!!)
I can dial without looking
Mine updated last night, it is stuck at the boost screen now....... glad it happened before I made a payment, any fixes??
