Seems to react to missed calls and possibly voicemails. No message notifications or anything.. Still pretty awesome to have the sheep butler finally, he walks around and does stuff so that's good enough for me! It would be pretty awesome to have Otou-san and Docomodake though.

Is there even an otousan widget? The only otousan thing I could find when playing around with a 003SH was the otousan 3D background, no specific apps or widgets.
The machichara runs on my HTC One XL (Rogers), but the screen flickers when in the machichara app and the only thing the widget seems to do is move his head from left to right. Bit weird. Takes up a whole row of icons too...

Yeah, sadly that isn't for Android phones.. it was just wishful thinking but I am sure there is one of either mascot somewhere for use with the machi-chara app for download. Where? Wading through all that Japanese text gets me nowhere atm.

I tried installing the Palette UI on my EVO 3D once but it didn't work. Are there even any phones other than the original which it will work on?

Doesn't tell me anything for incoming e-mails or SMS. Missed calls it will tell you. But doesn't re-direct to the call log for some odd reason.

I confirm that, I might have to specify the sdk version the apk needs to use as a minimum requirement probably 2.2 . It does not have any dependency thought. As for the palette ui it does not run on sense roms. It works much better on stock android

it is in english, i was just going to upload it for everybody who can't bypass the region based market have it, and im almost done translating the machi-chara apk, i had a couple of java related issues that i needed to fix because my sdk was not finding java properly.

Oh, good! So, you mean it can also be installed by DoCoMo users who haven't got it preinstalled (such as my friend who has a SH-12C)?
