    Hi there dubba,

Any further update on this international SMS bit? I hope to be able to send occasional international SMS as well and am thinking of switching from ATT postpaid to Straighttalk.

cant comment on the International texts,
but if i were you i would hold for another couple of months before shifting to ST.
Why? because ATT has implemented some changes in their network that have made data unreliable for the last few weeks. This is hopefully temporary, but i would advice waiting to see how this settles down before making any changes in your service.

I will get back to you after I speak to my co-workers again and ask them for an update.

I have ordered one SIM card. So will begin by moving one of our phones to Straighttalk.
I am not a big wireless data user - other than through mails, apps etc. So hopefully, I will be ok with their data limits.

    Oh that would be great.

After I typed this message, I looked at the coverage maps for TMobile and ATT and have ordered one ATT sim card. Eventually will need two.

I sent a text to my brother in Jordan in the Middle East a couple of days ago and surprisingly, it went through. Sent maybe 4 texts. I haven't texted him since.

    I'm on BYOD T-Mo sim.
