need help unbricking samsung galaxy s2

So long story short i tried rooting this phone and now it wont boot...

Does anyone know where i can find the stock firmware for the us cellular version of this phone? I cant seem to find it anywhere, id be using odin3 to re flash it..

Any help would be appreciated

Does anything come up when you try to power the phone on? If not, you are probably hard-bricked and best bet would be to either turn it in for warranty or find someone to use the JTAG device to reload the OS for you(once stock firmware has been released). The JTAG service usually runs around $40 to $70 plus shipping.

The Stock rom has not been released for that device, so you will have to wait for Samsung/USC to release the stock rom for somebody to make an odin image of it.

It powers up right now....it thinks its a AT&T phone......i geuss i flashed it with AT&T firmware...it goes to the phone but i cant use wifi or get any signal..

Looks like your stuck with it in that condition until the stock firmware is released. Do not try to warranty it.

You flashed new firmware to it without the stock firmware available and without doing a backup? Risky.

Yea im a noob at all this...you live you learn i guess....

is it possible for someone with stock firmware to upload it? I would be willing to pay for it...I have $10 in my paypal account right now for someone who could help me fix my phone...

What you need to do is download flashing software and a Sprint ROM for the SGS II Epic 4G. It's the same phone, except it has WIMAX.

Also you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT flash a ROM from a GSM phone onto a CDMA phone even if they have the same name. If you don't know the difference between GSM and CDMA, do your homework.

Yes, as long as it is for the same device plus you will just need to load the US Cellular PRL. You wouldn't have to, but to keep the phone from roaming too much so they don't terminate your line for the 50 percent rule.

anyone else have any opinions, would really like to get this phone working again but i guess im not tech savy enough to figure this out lol
