AT&T 4G LTE - Latest markets launching and speculation

Classic AT&T.

They actually do a lot of great things in a bunch of different respects and always seem to fail to tell people about it...

Looks like I called it a couple days early

AT&T officially launched LTE there a couple days ago.

That being said, I just checked the updated maps and AT&T filled in a huge portion of eastern Massachusetts and even has a little of Southern NH covered with 4G LTE.

What would be actually helpful is if AT&T pushed up LTE along the 89 through NH to supplement their crummy GSM/HSPA+ network.
I shudder to think that I may have to use AT&T on this stretch between WRJ/Lebanon and So NH.

I've seen a crane adding panels on a cellsite on Keyes Rd west of 99 freeway in the Modesto,CA market. Hopefully that means LTE will be lit sooner rather than later. If history is any indication they've been pretty good with the upgrades. Cingular got 3G going in 2006 in this market and kept up with the progressive upgrades to HSDPA 3.6, 7.2, and now HSPA+ on a timely fashion. Verizon did beat them with LTE as they brought it here last October but if AT&T is adding panels to local cellsites then it means LTE can't be far behind.

A month later and what do you know, LTE is live!

No, not even close Lol Sacramento is just getting into NorCal, the real North State starts north of SF and Stockton Sacramento would be a start though, but when they get Santa Rosa, Cloverdale, Healdsburg, Windsor, Ukiah, Redwood Valley, Willits, Fort Bragg, Redding, Red Bluff, Oroville, Chico, Yuba City, Marysville, Williams and Willows covered, then we're talking

Nope. I'm in Sacramento/Rancho Cordova/Folsom and haven't seen any LTE here. I check regularly on my 3rd gen AT&T iPad. I have seen some tower work going on in the last few months but don't know any details.

When I do see LTE, I will post here.
