Smart jack . Just installed it last night. Voice quality is good. Free north American call. VM and caller ID. 29.99 annual fee plus 10 annual for local Canadian number. You can also port your existing number. I'll try it for a few more weeks then if it's good I'll cancel my landline.

This is my cellphone. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My cellphone is my best friend. It is my life. My cellphone and myself know that what counts is not the calls we make or the cuteness of our ring tone. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit.

Google Voice using an Obihai 100 ($45 from Amazon) for $0 a month.

Free incoming/outgoing calls to the U.S. and Canada using your Google Voice number.
Supports two separate VOIP lines. I also have my SIPGate line configured on the OBi100 which I use for free incoming calls. Simple setup.
Does not support e911 but does allow you to reprogram 911 to call a ten-digit emergency number which works well.
Works great with a DECT 6.0 phone system.
    Great call quality.
All the normal phone features: Voice Mail, Caller ID, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, 3-Way Calling, etc
    Free smartphone apps
