I was also intrigued by the 4G icon on the AT&T phones. My girlfriend and I have the same iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1 and hers is on AT&T and mine is on Verizon. Speed tests showed my phone with download speeds no more than .23 mbps and hers was over 4.5 mbps. Is AT&T really that much faster or is this in fact 4G for her? I'm in Central Ohio where coverage is excellent for the both of us.
I am a little confused. My Verizon phone was able to roam on GSM because they used TDMA. Tell it was shutdown. The phone recognizes it as Analog. If PCS has TDMA, It could be technically be used on GSM.

Yeah ! first of all download itunes 10.6 and the ios 5.0.1. connect your device into your computer then use the latest redsn0w jailbreak tool to put your device in "pwned DFU" mode under Extras. After then edit your host files you will find on Cdrive, and after that backup your hosts file and save them. Now open itunes and select your ios device from the slidebar. After that switch restore and choose the firmware which is fully installed, after that get out of that recovery mode, by downloading TinyUmbrella and selecting “Kick Out Of Recovery Mode”. Now you will be able to jailbreak your A4 device on ios 5.0.1.
