Thanks for your response. No, I got it at the apple store. I don't think they added a data plan, the stock sim in the iPad has nothing associated with it, it's inactive, it gives me the option to add a post-paid data plan. My phone sim, which I put in the iPad later, has a 2-yr contract. I just put it in a different 4G phone, it worked in it, and it works in my original phone, but it won't work in the iPad. It must be the iPad imei that is somehow blocked. How would I go about getting a new micro sim without changing anything on my account, if my account already has a sim? I'm talking about my phone sim, not the sim that came in the iPad.
