The dealer doesn't have an easy way to search for the warranty by simply typing in the serial number of the phone.

True. They usually like to see it as your current equipment to bring up the warranty info. They can phone or email their contact at telus to have a copy of the warranty validation emailed to them via the serial number if putting your current Telus sim in the phone is not an option. It's a bit of extra work for them but I have had it done like that myself when I needed an air card fixed that would no longer recognise any sim cards so was impossible to insert a sim card to show it on my equipment screen.Originally Posted by rejusrekanta
