Yes, all towers need microwave or fibre backhaul. However, the backhaul must connect to some central backhaul aka "hub" in a nearby place.

Mobi's latency IS terrible at 300ms. However skype seems to work fine!

Mobi's latency isn't bad because of their backhaul, it's because they truck all their internet data back to toronto and back.
I can't speak to whether thats changed or not, but at one time I was curious enough to care and that was why. I think they may have made some small design changes since then , possibly a network POP in vancouver but I can't remember now.

And to proper topic - !!! Vancouver towers! I am crossing my fingers for langley/south surrey!

Finally a Vancouver-area tower. Managed to get the south-of-the-Fraser part right, but not quite where I was hoping to see it.

The Calgary map shows a Rogers, Bell, TELUS, and 2 WIND sites. The Calgary count should be 50.

Your total count is now 479 for Mobilicity, it should be 419. The "New Mobilicity" dropdown still shows 25 sites for Vancouver. No new sites were activated in Vancouver last month.

Calgary now shows 50. Please reconfirm the map.

Main Mobilicity map looks perfect

New Mobilicity shouldn't show any sites for Vancouver, and is missing one for Edmonton, 8600 1ST STREET.

Nice to have all that additional detail in the popups now!

Btw for all site junkies out there not all are created equal. Height, power level and other things make all the difference. We could have less total sites than someone else and have better coverage and capacity

Updated Loxcel map with 10 new Mobilicity towers.

The "New Mobilicity" dropdown is now showing 29 sites for Vancouver. (since April 1 ??)

The main Mobilicity map now shows a count of 215 for Toronto, but there are 212 Mobilicity AWS sites.
All Toronto sites, up to and including the Vaughan site announced May 17, are registered with IC.

I wonder if it'll boost my reception in Windermere where I currently use a repeater/booster setup to get service.
