Daylight Savings Time - MTS iPhone

Did anyone else find that their iPhone didn't change time this weekend?

Is there a way to fix this?

My unlocked Samsung Galaxy SII didn't switch yesterday. I turn my phone off overnight, so I didn't think a power cycle would fix it. Finally last night I set the time manually. When I turned it on this morning I changed it back to use the network time and it's been fine since.

I noticed that the time was off yesterday, but so was my wife's iPhone with Rogers. It's fine today.

Mine didn't change. I had to turn off "change automatically" under time and date settings for it to be correct.

Turning the phone off and then back on worked for me.

    Thanks for the suggestion Astylis!

Sometimes it won't change automatically until you receive an SMS or call.

I turned "change automatically" on and off a few times quickly and now the time is correct.

Well, I responded about my Samsung so the OP would know that it wasn't just an iPhone problem.

The power cycle is probably what did it, but from other forums I've seen repeatedly turning automatic on/off works too. I was ready to blame MTS for it, but clearly some phones are just more stubborn than others.

    Astylis' wisdom fixed my phone.

I imagine no one is still having this issue now. If you are, turning your phone off and on a few times should fix it.

    Probably can close this thread.

    Thanks again Astylis!
