Problem with weird noise during phone calls and getting support from AT&T

I just got a iPhone 4S for through work. I've been hearing this weird static noise during a good majority of my phone calls. I don't know my account password or anything regarding the bill. I was wondering if I take it to a AT&T store (or an Apple store for that matter) would they be able to help me out even though I don't know anything about the account?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Why don't you ask your company's tech support?

Or swap your SIM into a colleague's iphone and see how it sounds?

I've heard about this issue specifically with the 4s. Just take it to a genius bar and see if they can help you.

I've had this same issue with my 4S. It's rather strange, but I've just ignored it mostly. The majority of the time that I'm on the phone it's over bluetooth anyway where the problem doesn't present itself. Most likely something with the phone, not the network.

Same thing. It's more of a ticking that happens every half second to 1 second. Took it to apple store and they took it in back to see if hey could hear it. They said no. No replacement for me.

I too usually use Bluetooth so no big deal

OP, ask whoever gave it to you. They have more clout than you could possibly ever have!
Today a group of leading venture capitalists published an open letter to the FCC calling on them to prevent what they say would be the end of net neutrality and a crippling blow to young startups.
No Google, say it ain't (or wouldn't of been ) so! ATT and Verizon would have killed their own cash cow.

I've had that problem with my 4s too. It's not the carrier it's the phone I know several people who have had it. Try to change the sim card and update the os on the phone if that doesn't work then yes go to apple they will most likely switch it out.
