    Looks amazing though, UI fits the hardware nicely.

    EDIT: Didn't realise I was already past 1,000 posts!!!
    Congrats

    Judging by the popularity of the SH-06A NERV this will be hard to find/buy for a reasonable price

    Yup I would start saving money now if you want to get one early

    The shop manager hinted to me it might be limited to only 10000 released...which would mean this is going to cost insane amounts of $$$

    Probably at least 12万円, which would put the phone at $1500.00 + if not more

    I like the UI. It looks genuinely different. Hopefully it gets extracted like the SH-06A's interface was

    This can't be an Android phone can it? Otherwise, it will look a bit weird with all the third party apps not fitting in the rest of the NERV UI.

    This is an Android phone.

    It might be like the latest Prada phone- each app icon will be skinned by the OS itself. By skin, basically all it does is change the color of the icon to match the rest of the icons (for the Prada phone, monochome, and for this it'd be red).

    Or all the downloaded apps icons will look horribly out of place. tbh that's probably how it'll be- I can't see them making a whole new skinning process just for one low production phone.

    I actually really like the minimalist look of the LG Prada skin. The black looks very classy.

    You just reminded me why Apple doesn't allow themes on iOS - they would be pulling their hair out that the icons don't match the UI.

    I agree- the Prada UI is very nice.

    And yeah- this is probably why Apple won't permit themes- here's how my 4S looks:

    Even with a nice theme, it's just not worth it taking the time to find an icon for every app. So I just theme the stock icons so page 1 is nice and different but I don't bother with the rest

    If I remember when I had my iPhone 3G, there was a jailbreak that could automatically apply a skin over all the icons. Not sure it it looked good because I never got it to work.

    I had one of those themes- all it added was a frame around the app icon. Ugly imo.

    ;_; I sure don't hope it'll be that much. 1000$ I could still stomach, but 1500? ;_;

    For that money it better has a Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, the same 41 megapixel camera that the Nokia shown at CES has, and be as strong as a Xperia active (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F92CvRflk18) and a 3000 mAh battery xD ... and I think it still wouldn't be justified the 1500 dollar price

    Well, considering that it's a very limited Neon Genesis Evangelion themed smartphone, I wouldn't be surprised if the price shot up just because of the aforementioned features But still, do not want it to be so expensive ;_;

    The people who are considering to purchase this phone probably wouldn't care if it has a 100mhz processor, as long as its very unique EVA related Limited product

    You don't buy this phone looking to have the best phone in the world, you buy it to be a bigger nerd than all the other nerds and to make them cry that they couldn't get one

    Considering the first EVA phone was unusable outside of Japan besides just calling / SMS texting with hypersim, and that was still selling for 1200+ ....I seriously think this is going to be at the very least 1200, but since its unlockable and with the terrible US dollar / YEN rate exchange, it could easily be $1500.00

    I mean brand new phones purchased directly from Docomo without contract are 60000-70000万, so thats already about 900 dollars, so considering this is limited.....I would say 8-9万? And then people in Japan will be reselling it within Japan on Yahoo Auctions for like 11-12万? Then from there a few would trickle out for international sale

    It just depends on how limited the phone will be. If its limited but 50000 are released like the QPOT phone, then the price won't be so bad. But if its limited and 10000......prepare to make a huge hole in your wallet if you want one
