So KyoEx, how many phones did you get? What do you think your price will be?

The price is already insane.
Right now in Japan its reselling already for upwards of 160000-170000 YEN , that is about 2160-2200 US dollars just for the cost of the phone, before any paypal fees or Unlocking fees, shipping fees
This doesn't even factor in the profit that the seller has to make on top of the phone
Im pretty much sold out already. I offered mine for 1995.00 USD + Shipping, which is crazy cheap. Probably could have made more money if I just resold it in Japan, but its just not about the money for me. Rather people outside of Japan get the phone and spread the word around about my store/site/service

Sounds about right. I have some too but I haven't decided if I'm going to sell them here in Japan or on ebay.

better to sell in Japan, since Ebay people could really screw you if they filed a chargeback or a dispute
Just sell it in Japan and make it so its Bank Furikomi only, and you are guaranteed probably more money then you would make on ebay, and alot safer as well
Remember ebay / Paypal / exchange rates will rape you for about 15%

Strangely, My Docomo website tells me to come back to place my preorder on the 29th, the release date. The page doesn't list the price either.

Yes on the 29th, 30th, and I believe the 1st, they are allowing one last order of 3000 NERV phones to be placed
Basically they are holding 3000 for pre-order through Docomo online, so if you have a docomo account, and you haven't already pre-ordered yet with that account, then they will let you order one online (that is of course if you beat the few million other people who are gonna be doing it as well)
The price will be the same as the Docomo price for doing a 機種変更, I think its 98700 YEN
Im not sure when you do 機種変更 if you have to sign another contract with Docomo or not, so you might want to make sure first
