The only thing that doesn't work is MMS. If you need to send a picture, you can either email it or use an app like Instagram.

I'm pretty sure I have read that Vzw iPhones do work for MMS. Maybe it is hit or miss?

Yeah, I think some others have posted that it does work for them, but I wonder if they were actually sending via iMessage to another iPhone. MMS doesn't seem to work for me, I have not jail broken my phone, but since I can just email or Instagram a pic, I haven't really tried very hard to get it working. IMO, the lack of MMS shouldn't be a deal breaker, but to each his own.

How did you get past the "Activating yyour iPhone" screen? Mine's stuck there, and it won't let me make any calls, so I can't activate with the *22890 (will only let me make emergency calls)

Can you type *22890 in for the emergency number?

It won't let me use the *22890 as an emergency number, unfortunately.

Is that for me jim? I'll give it a shot, but I should clarify it's a Verizon iPhone 4.I'll try it though and let you know if that works

I have my Verizon iPhone 4 on PP. Been on the $30 plan for the past two months, activated directly on the PP website.

Everything works on my phone, except for visual voicemail. This includes MMS (just tried it to someone without an iPhone to see if it would work outside of iMessage).

The voicemail thing is a little annoying. Without visual voicemail, you have no idea if someone left you a message. There is no indicator, so you have to dial in to your mailbox to check. PP doesn't allow forwarding, so apps like YouMail do not work.

If anyone has a workaround for the voicemail issue, I'd love to hear it. I haven't found anything yet.

    Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings

That will put voicemail notifications in the drop down notification center. I activated 2 iPhone 4's on PP (one ported directly from vzw, other one with new number) and the one that was ported in wounldnt let me know when it had a vm, while the other one did. But the reset made it work with no problems. It was such a hassle to call my voicemail every hour or so.
