It worked great today, my kids were surfing via the hotspot with their iPods for about 2 hours on the road around Atlanta without any issues. My wife was playing Angry Birds at the same time on my phone. I have to say, it was a quiet ride.![]()

yea i metro for some reason stopped blocking tethering for their 4g lte network but focused more on blocking their 3g evdo network.
now any1 on 3g that tries to tether without changing their browser's user agent will get redirected to this webpage.

do you think they gave up trying to stop us from tethering on 4g? or perhaps they are getting ready to launch a new protocol to disable tethering for good? eh im not sure they will be able to do anything about it.

The sw update I did in another thread killed my hotspot. Looks lke metro had LG break that capability.

lol ace that was the first free open source app made for us metro android user and it works great then from there some1 else took that open source and made open garden which looks similar but has a few extra features that are useful.

Eh not much difference only reason i switched.was cuz open garden has power settings to allow me to configure how much power i transmit and how far i want my signal.to be transmitted along with advanced wpa encrypted security
