    Happiest Day Of My Life!!

    It's sad really.

    Rogers has forgotten why they're in business in the first place.

    Many will say that a business is only as successful as the number of customers it is able to satisfy. This is a general truth that many customers will agree with. I'm sure of this.

    But therein lies Rogers' weakness.

    They fail to satisfy their customers. And miserably, f*cking miserably.

    Yet what they are evidently successful at is pleasing the egos of the men and women that reside within the walls of such a flawed and incapable company.

    They flatter their stakeholders with numbers for which they're barely able to achieve. And to achieve such numbers, they consistently execute drastic and desperate measures -- be it insulting promotions, f*cked up technology roll outs (in which they slander the very term 'innovative'), or (my personal favorite) layoffs. This pattern is the direct reflection and outcome of incompetence.

    And incompetence … how it runs deep within the very human resource fabric at Rogers.

    CEO, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers, all the decision makers have failed to deliver quality products to their customers.

    Sadly, they will continue to fail because of their delusional beliefs that they are succeeding.

    I often wonder what the face of the devil looks like. You know, the one who whispers into the ears or clouds the vision of these susceptible sheep into thinking they are succeeding.

    Are you a Metric? A Person?

    Whatever you happen to be, I consider you a parasite.

    That is, someone who benefits at the expense of others.

    Perhaps you make your bad decisions out of desperation in order to keep your job.

    Although you are now visible, I reckon we will see more of your bad decisions in the months to come. In other words, Rogers will forsake their Customer's happiness for selfish gain yet justify their actions by claiming it was for their customers in the first place.

    Absorb these words and you will quickly understand why Fido doesn't yet have LTE.

    Or why Rogers is desperately trying to squeeze every last drop out of their dying cable business instead of moving to an IPTV platform like the competition.

    Or why Rogers is desperately deploying gimmicks like Rogers One Number, Speedboost and Netbox to deceive their customers into thinking they're getting value all the while providing these same Customers with shamefully poor quality of service.

    Thankfully, as of today, I am no longer a Customer.

    Today is the happiest day of my life.

    F*ck you Rogers!

    I wish upon you the same fate as Nortel.

    And I hope you die.

    Just f*cking die.

    Why would you possibly take a rant about a company (one of the most hated in canada at that) so personally? I don't recall a single instance in that post where he mentioned or insulted you.

    Any company that has it's roots and operational experience as a monopoly is going to have customer service issues. Monopolies never have to be concerned about customers or providing value. Ever. It becomes a part of their DNA. Rogers, Shaw, Bell, they are all the same and they can't change.

    Best thing that will happen is when they lose their cushy artificial nanny state protection. Once foreign investors are allowed (but not for the big three) the free ride is over, I think. Layoffs will suck, but will be a natural correction to the current state. They will find it harder to take advantage of their position when their position is weakened to a more natural order.

    Now, for those that seem so insulted and bitter about his comments, perhaps a violin sonata would be in order and appreciated even. Certainly a nice gesture, either way.

    Who cares if he does not like rogers. He was a customer of theirs and was not getting the service he expected, he has every reason not to like them it should not stop someone from liking rogers, however what he is trying to say is if you are unhappy, dont "put up" with a company because you think you have to.

    If it was me, the happiest day of my life would not be about a hofo post about leaving my phone company, but more like getting married or something.

    If not being a customer of Rogers which is a pretty good company is the happiest day of your life I think you need to get out more.
