iTunes music and movies on galaxy s2

Okay, so against my better judgement I bought an android phone today based on the recommendations here. Every time someone mentions iPhone there are a ton of people who say what about android. So far, it's hard and weird.

Anyways, how do I put all my iTunes music and movies and podcasts on this thing and how do I buy music on the go? There's no iTunes app in the android market. Can someone please help? I've got over 64 gb of music alone. Hope this thing has a huge hard drive.

    Thank you!!

There's plenty of apps that can sync your music from that godawful p.o.s. bloatware known as ITunes to your superior Android technology.
Do a bit of research and download an app from Play Store that will do the trick.
Better yet if you're in the US you can sync up all your tunes to the absolutely free-of-charge Google Music cloud.
    Done and done.

I think there will be no such app that runs iTunes on Android.

    Big vacuum in responses huh?

Anyways try Double Twist. I hear that it works well for iTunes.

But if you are a big iTunes and music fan, better to stay with the iPhone.

DoubleTwist is the best choice and it's for free. It will help you to manage iTunes files and transfer to Galaxy s2 easily. By the way, if bought music files from iTunes Store, you need to (guide: handysoft.org/drm/itunes_to_galaxy_s2.html) remove iTunes DRM protection otherwise you can't play those iTunes contents on your phone.

In most cases, you can play in Android the music downloaded from iTunes, but I think except for those songs that you have purchased from iTunes before April 2009 (the time that they introduced iTunes Plus). I believe those files wouldn't work with Androids but I have heard that there is a service that will allow you to upgrade those old songs to Android compatible ones. I just forgot the rate per song, but it was kind of cheap.

Ibought a Samsung Galaxy S2and LOVE it. SHould have went over to Android a long time ago.I am having a few issues. With the iphone, it was all within itunes (syncing, photos, music, etc).
I cannot figure out how to transfer music from my itunes (playlist) to my Galaxy S2.

It is very easy to Syncing iTunes files to an Android device than people think. I have done it by using a software called double twist by connecting my android device to PC. Open double twist and select file which you want.

I researched a bit and decided to go with this app from the Play store. It's isyncr by JRTStudio, there is a pc and a mac version and even an add-on to do it by wifi. I opted to go for the paid version at only $2.99 Works great and syncs your playlists, movies, pictures, podcasts. Their support emails you back really fast if you happen to need it. In my impatience to sync my music, movies etc I forgot a step and couldn't get it working. I received an email response from them really quickly, I think within the hour. However, before I received the reply I had reread the instructions and successfully sync'd all my stuff before their support replied to me. Excellent app. Works with S2 as well as S3.
